The pristine beach at Frejus with St. Raphael in the background right. A celebration bottle of "limonade" stood in for Champagne as the sun set warm and red. Today, where I am standing is wall to wall condos, yacht harbors, a beach strip of cafés, tourist junk shops and small restaurants. There is a two lane road divided by grassy median planted with flowers, a promenade between the sand and the strip. In summer, it is a grid lock.
