The exterior of the Officers' Club to the right (US Old Glory a bit limp). North of the river, the street runs from the Champs Elysée towards the Americn Cathedral on Ave. George V. I believe I am correct in stating that it no longer is an officer's club. My mother remembers my father smuggling his corporal childhood friend into the club during the war years. His friend was not getting enough to eat. But memories are always suspect. If it was not this club, it was the club in another location.
