The Paris We Knew - Class of '64-'65 Photo Album.

I seem to have printed very few of my photos of Paris. I am searching my very old files for the negatives of my photos without much success so far. If I find some, I will put them up here.

Local Shopping-

I lived near the college and always bought the ingredients for my meals from the same vendors every day for two years. This is the fruit and vegetable stand on rue St. Dominique.
Butcher shop spacer

And this is the butcher shop where I bought my "bifteak haché" every day. Never did I receive a "bonjour monsieur" in all that time. Now in the provinces and the country, they won't serve you without observing the "politesse" of a "bonjour monsieur". In fact, most shoppers also address the shop as a whole with a "bonjour mesdames - monsieurs". One of the things I love about France.
